Guppies

My Guppies, 2 female, are about to have babies. They are big and puffy, LoL.. My dad got me a fish tank for Christmas, like I wanted. My Dad and I have not had good luck. Finally, we got 2 female Guppies, and 1 male, since there should be several female with males. The male died about 1 month after it was boughten at Wal*Mart. The 2 female are still alive..what should I do to keep them from dying?

did you cycle the tank before you put the fish in?
and do you hvae a breeder trap or a seperate tank for the fry?

Lots of clean water,gravel cleaning,TLC and observation should keep them alive.

You should buy water test kits to help you figure out the problem when things go wrong.
