Guppies are livebearers, not sure how often they give birth I think its every couple of months but I could be wrong!

yes guppies are livebearers and i think they are great because they have got vibrant colours and are always full of energy like all livebearers. but for some reason i prefer guppies
they usually have fry once a month but sometimes it takes longer but when they do have fry boy do they have fry the most fry ive had is 48 thats why their lifespan is only a year

Actually their natural lifespan is 2 yrs, i recently had a male guppy make it to just over 2yrs old- although alot of course depends on their breeding and stuff. I agree though that they usually have fry once a month, although alot it depends of course of how often the female guppy actually gets pregnant and how many fry she has etc.

guppies lay eggs and after at least two months they have another but you need to buy another male guppy.

P.S. female guppies do not mate with the same male.

Im sorry but thats totally wrong, if you dont believe me that guppys give birth to live young, check out this video of a female guppy giving birth to a live fry/baby fish;

Female guppys will also mate with the same male plenty of times.
