My Guppies seem to be swimming at the water line alot, also they like to be close to the filter alot? Have I done something wrong? I waited the correct time before putting fish in, treated the water, etc.

What is the tank size? Water stats?

If everything is fine they might be just having fun. My guppies like swimming in the filter stream for fun, so if all is ok it might be just that they are entertaining themselves.

40litre tank im getting a water reading layer on, maybe your right about the filter, they just seem to hide themselves under it or next to it, then they'll go for a swim then come back. Been worried.

If you get a high ammonina/nitrite reading that could be your problem.

Do you have an air stone, or some other way of getting oxygen into the tank?

No I will get one tomorrow though have plenty of bubbles giving off oxygen at the moment. They also like the heater its around 27 - 28¤ one likes it more than the rest.
