hi, when my fishless cycle is finished, my stocking will be:

4 guppies
6 glowlights
6 neons

however, in was wondering whether changing the guppies for a betta would be nicer as it creates a "display fish" and bettas are also very nice.

what do you think?

I would personally waitn a little while to get a betta, as I personally find if the conditions are fluctuating as they will be in a new tank they tend to suffer, I would suggest waiting 4-6 weeks before getting one so the tank has had a chance to settle. . a betta will be finein with the guppies.

dont get a betta.

It will either:

-Tear the guppies fins apart
-Neons will nip its fins
-none of the above (if your lucky)

but its a big risk putting a betta in with guppies or tetras.

They prefer to be on their own, or with some cories.
