Guppies Long Tails Being Eaten

Hi
I have 2 male 6 months old guppies they have very lovely long tails which have been fine for the past 6 months but the last week i have noicted bite marks & there tails seen to be being eaten
but i dunno why coz i have not added any new fish
there are only guppies in the 23 gallon uk tank

are guppies eating the tails

any way i can stop the tails being eaten


there is
4 males in the tank int total
2- 6 months old
2 -4 months

there are females
1 adult
2 6 months old
1 5 months old
5 - 3 months old
20 - young ones

You essentially have more males then females. Females of susbstantial age anyway. Most likely, the males are becoming aggressive with each other because they are frustrated from lack of females. You'll need more females, or less males.
