i have a bunch of albino guppies and albino blue guppies and i know some of the females are pregnant but i cant tell when they will drop because i cant find the gravid spot.

The females will be ready to drop when they are very round and fat and take on a boxy appearance. The gravid spot isn't the way to tell how far along they are.

well they also separate themselves from the rest of the guppies?
and i bought a floating box i think its called a fri trap. When should i put the pregnant female in it?
oh and thank you

Please don't put the female in it. It really stresses them out if you do that, possibly to the point where she just reabsorbs the fry and doesn't deliver any. If you put lots of plants in the tank she's in now, the fry will have a good chance, at least some of them, of surviving. Then you can either take them out of the main tank and put them in their own tank or let them fend for themselves.

Unless you're starting a guppy ranch, I'd suggest the latter. Otherwise you'll honestly have more guppies than you'll know what to do with.
