Guppy Mama

I have a 24 gallon tank with guppies. There are about 12 guppies in the tank. This tank has been running for over a year, though the fish vary in age.

About a month ago I noticed symptoms of sick fish. I had also given some fosh to a friend, and her fish were ill, as well. One died, and no more symptoms are detecable...leads me to think thereis something bad in my tank.
They did have swelling...trapped fluids, but until 2 days ago, none had the pine cone dropsy belly.
At first I just noticed some were listless, and one had a light dusting of fungus and her gills looked inflamed (just pinker). I did a 30 percent water change and I treated with Binow according to the label. My fish went into a very stressed stae, so I did anpther water change the following morning.
The fungus-like dust on theone fish went away.
Then came pinned fins, more excessive swelling...I tried a five day course of tetracycline. Nothing. I tried a 5 day course of Marycyn 2, and I thought they looked much better, Butthe course ended 3 days ago, and I have 3 dead fish today...and a couple of soon to be goners. A few seem fine.
I bought a filter w/a biowheel for up to 50gallons yesterday, hoping it would help...
Can you help me? What in the world is my next step?

Does it almost look like a big sore? maybe with some whiteness kind of like a fuzzyness? I know it might be hard to tell since they are so small ( I have a guppy too). My problem was that I had regular fishing minnows in my tank and it was making all my fish have diseases. Do you have ANYTHING but guppies in your tank? OH, and I ended up buying this stuff called MelaFix. It is basically a medicine for fishes that cures all kinds of diseases and fishy sicknesses. I bought it at Wal-Mart so you could probably find it there. It cured my last standing tetra and he's been just fine for months now. I would try it if I were you.
