why is my guppy almost always swimming near the surface. she isn't gasping for air, and she's eating well...(she suffered from a bacteria tail rot an lost her back tail. it is almost fully grown back, but the color is still quite fadded yet)
any ideas?

female guppies get grumpy.
If she's eating well and looks normal, give her a few days and she should start swimming around mroe with the others.

Or maybe she's just not the social kind and wants to be alone.

its going on three weeks now that shes doing this

i bought 2 more guppies.....and now the 'sick' one is swimming normally....could it be she was lonely?
