Hi guys

I woke up this morning and i saw that my Blue Neon Guppy has got a ig chunk missing from its rear fin. I know why it has happened and the fish that did it has gone!!!!!

Will it be ok or will it suffer from any diseases?

Just want to check its gonna be alright.

Thanks

Yep, Cracker's way is a good way to treat them. Sparkly clean water is a fast healer. If you do add salt, it might be beneficial to do it in a hospital tank if you have salt intolerant fish. Just keep an eye on it, and make sure it doesn't get infected, and it should be as good as new in no time.

cheers. will do it tomorrow.
i hav guppies, neon tetras, black phanton tetras and 2 pepper corys. will salt be ok with them?? an how much salt should i put in?? 20gal tank

thanks

The Tetras and the Cories won't do so well with the addition of salt. Do you have a hospital tank you could treat in? Otherwise, you could just try keeping the water sparkling clean. :)

No i dont have another tank. No room at all :(

Guess I will just have to keep doing water changes everday and watch how the guppy heals. Its swimming round fine with the other guppy at the moment.

Thanks

 I have terta's and cory's in my tank and I add salt to the tank. Just add it slow over time and make sure it is well desolved. :)
