my female guppy has a blck gravid spot next to its anal fin but how can you tell when it is going to give birth

my female guppy has a blck gravid spot next to its anal fin but how can you tell when it is going to give birth

my female guppy has a tail like thing sticking out of its (bum) wat do u think it is /its not poop because when it goes a toilet it stays there/ do you think it is the baby fry coming through because my guppy is pregnant.

It very well could be,if it stays there for a LONG time and is stuck,and you're sure it may be a baby,she might have to be helped getting it out,or else she could die from the stress. I've had to help one of my females once,two came out at once,I had to net her and give a gentle tug and 2 baby guppies came out. Luckily she lived.
