Guoramis

We used to have 3 guoramis (blue) but we lost 2. We are now left with this last one with a very very large middle. It looks like she/he has swallowed a golf ball. Can anyone help. Many thanks

You're not feeding it twice as much as you should are you ;-)

Sounds like it could either be constipation or more likely dropsy. Does he have scales sticking out?

Size of tank in gallons or litres.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
What do you feed your fish.
Are scales sticking out.
Epson salt baths help draw the fluids out.

Wilder if you do an epsom salt bath what is the ratio of salts to water and how long do you immerse the fish for? Also how often do you repeat it ?
