Guns, Bad Or Good.

Before I start, This is posted in the general chat and is nothing related to fish.

Anyway, Guns. Why do people feel the need for them? I just watched a video of a road raged parent get out of his car and walk quickly up to another guy only to get shot and killed, Now I don't know how the US deals with road rage but in the UK we call the police or beat ourselfs sense not point blank kill someone.

The guy that shot the road raged parent was let off of all charges and was deemed "Self defence" after shooting a parent infront of his wife and kids that were in his car at the time.

I feel am just starting a flame war but these can be interesting or it gets removed by a mod. Herpaderp.

So clearly there's a large line between murder and self defence.

We have a lot of public land here in the U.S. where hunting is allowed. I enjoy that outdoor activity, and guns are a part of it. I don't do a lot of shooting anymore, outside of hunting. I used to live in a very rural area and would target shoot almost daily in my yard. Guns are very common here in the U.S. I hardly know anyone that doesn't own at least one. Pretty sure that's not going to change, even with Obama's re-election. We Americans like our guns.
