The lines running from his mouth to his gills make me think: BASS He's not though, he's a type of goby actually

Sorry, I was thinking of the literal meaning But yeah, kinda, and he acts like a cichlid, 3 fish in one package

No, this is a Mogurnda mogurnda purple spotted gudgeon, but I believe they are closely related This guy won't even get up to being a pound

you bet [maybe three or four] ............now that it's warmer we'll feed him live insects .
He's a beast .

Dwarfs is my son , Mo picked me to bring him home . The only gudgeon in tank full of South American cichlids , and more grey than he is now .

In over thirty years in the hobby , this is one of the coolest fish I have come accross .

Almost bought one of those , they get pretty big .
