Hi everyone!

About a month ago i bought 6 neon yellow panchax, which i put in my biggest tank. Over the next few days 4 of them disappeared, i thought this was probably down to my fire eel because i've still actually never seen him eat, so i moved the remaining 2 into my small community tank. Then the other day i came downstairs in the morning to find my biggest purple-spotted gudgeon had a silver shark halfway down its throat!

I'm now guessing it was him who ate the panchax, is there anything else he would eat or would it be best to find a new home for him?

Thanks

pesonal i would move him into seperate tank, i thought i would have to do this with my ruby shark but lucky mine bin ok i think.

Purple Spotted Gudgeon should ideally be in a 'Oddball' tank. Saying that if you look at my signiture I keep one along with other 'Community' type fish & they all get along fine as I have no fish under 3 or 4 inches so they wouldn't fit in his mouth. He even eats flake & I treat him to prawns once a week.
