Gt Male Or Female

i was always under the impression i had a male due to me probably not knowing much but its quite colourful, its gettin bigger now but no sign of the bump on the head can any1 clarify?

What size it? Im thinking about 4" and still quite young? With the pointier anal and dorsal Id guess male, but that may just be the pic.

just over 6 inches, and about 2 and a half years old, at what point does the bump usually form?

over 8", 2 1/2 yrs old and only 6"!, Mine grew from 3" to 8" in the 4 months I had him. Can I ask what you feed it on? Not saying that the rate mine grew was normal, but usually GT's are pretty fast growing.

yeah i think i may have stunted his growth along with my 3 plecs ive had for approx 3 years and are still only about 2.5", he was kept in a 18x12x15 for the first.. almost 2 years, as i set up a tank and bought fish before i had a clue what i was doing (my bad) he was only fed once every 2 or 3 days on cichlid pellets

he is now in a 100cm which i know is still small but since he went in he has about doubled in size approx 4 months ago. and is now being fed probably too much on a mixture of, cichlid pellets, dried tubiflex, dried bloodworm, flakes, some kinda goldfish sinking pelltes, he basically will eat anything
