If i remeber right, clownfish are damsel's.

Damsel are the saltwater DEVIL! 
People used to use them to cycle SW tanks but then relized they had to remove the fish. Have fun doing that in a tank full of live rock. They are bullies big time. 
Mean like cichlids. They will beat up on fish twice their size! The dominos get pretty big also, Ive seen them 4 in. Clown fish are in the damsel family, thats why some clown are bullies too. Like maroons, and tomato clowns. I think they would be too aggresive for puffers.

a "fish hater"
My domino chases my green spot puffer but the puffer is able to scrape a living by staying on the other side of the tank. The puffer will be moved shortly.
