hi i have 2 green spotted puffer i have had them for nearly 2 months now and i have begun to knowtice over the last few days there attitude has changed they have become more hid away under a pice of bog wood only coming out at feeding time and one at a time for a swim thy seem to have made a pit out but i can not see any sign of eggs but you cant really see i dont know if i have a pair i just picked the 2 biggest the shop had is there anything i should look out for i know there is nothing wrong with the water and my tests on the water are perfect and my yellow panchx are breeding like mad laying egs daily just wonded if my puffers with the signs they are showing could be getting ready to breed chers phil

While it would be unlikely for GSPs to breed, your puffers do seem to sound as though they are breeding. The best thing you can do is not disturb them and prepare some food for the babies so you are ready. Keep some live newly hatched brine shrimp on hand.
