Gsp Being Picky

ok theyre eating, but being VERY fussy about it, they eat a little and then lose interest and hover at the top of the tank where i drop food in, waiting for more

am i doing something wrong?

instead of just buying new food, id much rather tackle the problem in hand, and it its a health issue id rather address it now

What is it your feeding them that they turn their nose up at? I know with my F8's they prefer live but they will eat frozen if i put it in the flow of the filter so it moves about. But then they do eat prawns, muscels and other things that dont move. They love river shrimp.

I'd try river shrimp, works with every picky predatory fish everytime
We got a marine delievery at work today and fed the lions, seahorses etc river after they had been acclimatised and thye started eating straight away!
My GSP that i got on Saturday is a tad picky, but he takes river, musel, prawn and live blood atm. I think the hot temp due to the weather is affecting him tbh, but he is eating rather well
If the riiver doesnt work the only other thing is to soak the food in garlic...
