My male dwarf gourami is being a bit of a pain to the other fish. He keeps going for them and trying to nip. Is this because they are probably in "his space" ? I think the bog wood is his territory. But its not as if there are other male gouramis to fight with. It usually happens at feeding time but there is plenty of food. It's not fun to watch. I keep pointing my finger at him and he seems to back down but not for long. He's in with danios and cories (and they are not much of a threat to him) and is the biggest fish.

Re-aranging the tank and feeding him at opposite ends from the other fish might help. With danios and cories you don't realy have much to worry about I think. There's no long fins or anything like that and both danios and cories are quick and can get away if necessary. There's realy little else you can do besides exchange him for another dwarf and see if the new one's any better. Gouramies have very distinct and individual personalities so sometimes exchanging one fish for another does help but I suggest you try changing the tank around and feeding him seperately first.
