i feel i need to vent my angry somewhere! so this is my outlet!, i was round the other halfs house and get a phone call saying my tank smelt and was cloudy, so i was thinking there might of been a amonia spike or something or other, i come home and half a tub of fish pellets are in the tank, so one of my relatives has poured it all in trying to feed them, to make it worse i find out it was my grandad! so annoyed! did a 50% water change and put the filter power up to clear up but im guessing im just doing a daily water change, the water is still abit cloudy but alot better than it was but one or two of the guppies are stuggling, the others seem fine, grrrrrrrrrrrr, anyway! at least the sun is out

Sure the old boy meant well, though I don't think I'd be quite so understanding if it was my tank. At least you know whats happened and are able to keep on top of it, personally I'd do another 50% change today and have a proper nosy around the substrate, pick up as much as you can. Then same again in morning and test in the evening.

yeh ill do another later then, im sure he did mean well but oh well what can you do!, ive calmed down abit now!. the joys of fish keeping!, yeh when i did the 50% water change i gravel vacd as much food as possible, it was catfish pellets so it was easy to pick up and sift most of it out.
