Noticed it this morning. It is like a big bubble underneath her chin, looks almost like rubber or clear plastic in colour.
I have had this goby since July. She came from Trimar with 3 companions which died when I was abroad in August. No symptoms were recorded, I put their deaths down to refusal to eat flake food.
None of the other fish in her then tank showed signs of ill health.
She is now in a 25 ltr (6 gallon) tank together with 4 guppy fry. The tank is cycled and mature (running since last September). Just tested the water- zero readings of ammonia and nitrites. I do a water change once or twice a week. I am going to do a water change now- can't do any harm anyway. Anything else you suggest? I have pimafix and anti-internal bacteria treatment in the house.
Have looked through all my books but can't find anything that sounds like it. Have any of you seen anything similar?

Just want to check though this happens on fins mostly, does it look like a cauliflower or a clump of berries.
Stange, bubbles under the skin is gas bubble desease.

No, it is not a clump of several anything. Nor does it look like a bubble under the skin. It looks like quite a large round growth hanging down from the skin.

Thanks, I will. The fish is already in a smaller tank with only a few guppy fry- afraid they will have to take their chance as I can't risk them carrying anything nasty into any of the other tanks.

Ok, good luck.

Afraid I can't do a pic as I've only got an oldfashioned camera. Have done a water change and treated with pimafix- it says on the label it treats bacterial infection and I've had quite good results with it in the past. The only other option I had at hand was the Interpet anti-internal bacteria med, but that bottle is quite old and may well be past its useful life. Thanks for your help.

I've got cold too.
Let me know about them meds if you don't mind never used them.
