Hi, im very happy with my established tank (about 7 months or so now) and really want to start growing some nice plants mainly dwarf grass in the hope of getting a nice thick carpet. and then bring in some others.

i was looking at a uk stockist on ebay .. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/25-Sagittaria-subulata-Dwarf-Grass-Aquarium-Plants-/220914566394?pt=UK_Pet_Supplies_Fish&hash=item336f88c4fa#ht_2198wt_905

does this look ok? and is this as easy as it sounds? just plant them into the substrate and theyll eventually flourish into a nice thick carpet?

thanks for the help in advance!

Kob

a lot of people have had good things to say about that seller.
Personally i struggled to grow dwarf sag.Don't know why, it just didn't take for me, so i'm not much help on that front though.
What i will add if you don't mind, take your Vallis out of the sponge & weights and replant each stem a couple of cm's apart

Nice anubias as well

thanks for the quick reply, ill give the buyer a go and see how they come together. and ive just taken them out of the metal clips and cant believe i hadn't done it before!

Generally hair grass will need supplementary fertilisers etc. but you may get lucky and find that it'll grow without for you. It's growth won't be speedy though. :)
