grow out tank

hiya all
today i have set-up my dragon cross spawns grow out tank. i baught some new fake plants today for in it so they have a place to hide and an open space
does it look ok? will be moveing fry in to it abit later once the heat in the tank has got to the right temp.

thanks lets hope all goes well when moveing them there i H8 doing that part always scared am gunna kill em by movein em.

same here and then when you catch them in the net they always jump around and you think there gonna jump out the net and go behind the tank or something lol

OMG dont say that or ill be scared to even try now lol i normaly put them in a small bug tank and float them adding a little water every 15mins to get them used to it but still scares me.
nvm it has to be done or they will become pigmy bettas lol
btw they are getting small hints of colour green and blue they are 4 weeks old today

forgott the sponge filter silly girl shame on you lol and don't worry about them jumping only happened a couple of time tricky lil things lol

I think it's really nice! Personally, I would go out and buy a big ol' bag of Water Sprites or Hornwort. They are both easy growing floating plants, and my little fish seem to really like them My smallest betta from Nashnut just sits at the bottom swimming through the plantes water sprites, then goes to the top and swimgs through the Hornwort, then back down ^____^ Neither of them need a substrate, and they are both cheap!

and if your algae gets outta control you could get some amano shrimp and they also clean your plants but you have to make a few hiding places for them cause when there shedding there shells your betta babies will peck the hell outta that shrimp and make a nice meal aswell

i would but fake is so much easyer i dont like most floating plants dunno why its just me lol and live plants tend to die and make the bottom all nasty where with fake u dont get that, also live plants can bring snails and other bugs.


i might try shrimp as long and the shrimp dont turn meat eater lol

last one they have just been fed so u can see live bbs on the bottom that way the fry stay still for not so blurry pics

upside down catfish.i had one it played alot and then it just died for no reason but it awesome really supper cool awesome i think i might get another yeah yeah yeah yeah uh huh ho ko ba ba ko
