hi

what is this little swimmer that i unearthed when i planted something? about 2/3 the width of a pencil, litle over half inch long. has lived for days underwater in a pail. there could be w whole COLONY of them! can i remove plants and fish and use some clorox to kill them clorox should dissipate, rinse out etc soon. OR DOES SOMEONE HAVE A BIGGER BUG THAT WILL EAT THEM??? or maybe a Goeophagus, gravel sifting cichlid wouldn't be too aggresive for my favorite fish - a one inch discus. thanks

what exactly does it look like... does it have legs?? I found some odd bug in my 3 gallon tank not to long ago but I just threw it away... a few days later I found about 3 more and kept those until they died... but im not sure if it is the same thing.

Please click my profile to see image of the bug.... thanks

geez - what a pain uploading th eimage.

hmm mine werent like that.... they were born with some blackish or dark brown stripe things if I remember correctly... they also had somewhat of a tail. Im thinking it was some sorf of larvae stage of an insect and i caught it before it hatched thank god.... I wouldnt want one in my house becuase the biggest one i found the the tank was about an inch and a half..
