Fish Fanatic
hello! i just registered because i have some questions.
im about seventeen but ive had fish tanks off and on since i was about 7. Just this past year i've actually researched and held up with maintaining an aquarium. I've learned why ive always had problems with tanks. for one, ive never had a heater, never did pH test, ammonia test, nitrite or nitrate test, and i never did water changes. pretty insane.
right now i have a 35 gallon which was started about a month ago. Im slowly aquiring fish. So far it has two silver mollies, one cremesicle molly(just got this one today), one rainbow albino shark (or red finned albino shark) and one sunset wag platy, and one tiny common pleco.
the test readings are great and the aquarium is fully heated and chemically, biologically, and mechanically filtered.
i also have a small 10 gallon hospital/breeding tank which now holds a sunset wag platy (which had stressed and torn his fins when he was in the big tank..the fins are growing back nicely) and a dwarf blue gourami whose scales had been picked off by a silver molly while in the bigger tank. The tank is divided by a tank divider and also holds another pleco.
anyhow...thats about it!!!
