Fish Fanatic
Hi, my name is Gemma and I'm from Leicestershire, UK. I've always had pets, I grew up around all kinds of animals- birds of prey, reptiles, a monkey(!) - but never had a fish tank. Now my boyfriend has just bought our first tropical tank. It's a 58L standard glass tank with hood, and it came with everything needed for setup. We don't have live plants though, just plastic ones, as we don't feel we can cope with keeping those alive as well as the fish! The tank looks great and we both love staring into it for hours.
We have had all sorts of different advice from various people, and everything seems to be going ok so far. We bought 5 Pearl Danios to start with about two weeks ago, and have just added 3 Panda Corys, who all seem to be doing ok. Still have lots of questions though, hence the reason for joining the forum so we can pick all your brains
