i constantly keep getting a greenish haze which wont clear i understand this to be a algea influx i keep having to do massive water changes any ideas anybody on how to manage this would i be best getting some algea eaters or some of them algea disolving tablets

What size tank is it? What and how many fish do you have in the tank? How long has the tank been running? Did you cycle the tank? I would have to say that the greeny haze you are seeing is a algae bloom caused by new tank syndrome and the large water changes aren't helping the situation its only making it worse.

Im haveing similar problems with 2 of my tanks, have done just about every thing i can think of but no real differance. both tanks have been running for atleast a year or more now. fish dont seem bothered, just looks really bad :/

i agree with the idea that the water changes are making it worse. if you get something like an algae pad or remove any ornaments you have in the tank so the algae cant grow on them a plecostomus should do the rest.

a pleco can't eat green water and it won't grow on an algae pad since the water is green, its an algae bloom not green algae. ;)
