I have 1 approx 12-14" Pacu in a 90 gallon aquarium. Then tank has been running for over two months. For filtration I am using two Emperor 400 bio-wheel filters. I do not feed excessively, and do weekly to bi-weekly water changes. My problem is the water is pea-soup with algae and it just wont clear. All test numbers are what they should be. I tried Al-Gone, and it did work for about two weeks, but then it stopped being effective and the tank is constantly murky. I have other tanks with lesser filters that are crystal clear. Any advice for this problem? Thanks!

For the chemical route I'd recomend eSHa protolon-707

If you don't want to use chemicals then there is, the option of reducing the amount of light and/or adding a in line UV filter.
