Green Water

I have a 2.5g planted tank that has green water. How should I go about corredting this because I don't think that I can buy a UV that small. ALso the blackout method failed on my bigger tank. That is why I bought the uv.

Yeh black outs only really work on BGA, which as we know isn't an algae anyway.

If its 2.5g do 50% water changes every day for a week or so that might shift it.

Thanks have you ever tried api's algae remover. It says that it is safe to use in planted tanks.
