Still struggling with green water problem - added filter floss which I am changing daily - sticking to 10hrs of light on tank, got blinds shut to ensure no direct sunlight reaching it - just wondering if it is worth taking out rockwork and boiling it to kill algae - it is completely covered - also I can't get to back of tank to scrape algae off - does it 'seed' further algae growth and so would help if I could remove it all?

If it's still there...

Yeah I would take everything out and boil the substrate, rocks, wood, all of it (except the fish ;) ).
