Hi there

Just wondered if anyone has used this treatment, its for the green water (floating algae) and it binds it together and you just take it out when it sinks to the bottom apparently.

I would imagine it'll all go really cloudy and stuff??? I'm considering using it in my tank as my water has been a bit cloudy lately, and i always do a water change each week and clean filter, renew then etc.

any tips from you experts out there? :)

Thanks

Do not use the stuff is my advice. It is copper based and to this end you are pouring a poison into your tank. An accumulative poison t’boot. To control green water simply, use a UV sterilizer – these can be HOB or in line with an external filter. Your water will be crystal clear in under a week.

Silly question, but whats HOB? Have lookedd on ebay for a UV Sterilizer and i'm looking about 40 quid right? not sure how they work though.

My mate went ahead and used the King British treatment and his water has go really cloudy!! hes panicing now and wants to know how he can solve it?! he thinks he has poisoned his fish!

HOB means hang-on-back (as in it hangs on the bank of the tank)

If your friend is concerned the best thing to do right now is a large water change.
