I was thinking of doing a blackout for a few days to see if it will clear my green water problem. I'm not even 100 % sure that it's green, it kind of looks like it might even be a bacterial bloom which I've had before. Would anyone have any tips on combating this? Will a blackout harm my plants? Also, should I shut off my C02 if I do a blackout?

Thanks

Ive heard that blackouts work on green water, but Ive never needed to do one myself. If you do a blackout, yes be sure to turn off the CO2 and no it shouldn't harm the plants.

Thanks Sam. I'm not sure if I should wait it out or try a blackout. I'm sure that it will go away eventually. I did some uprooting of some plants about a week ago, and maybe that's what caused it. I also added some root tabs about three weeks ago and maybe I disturbed them when I was re-planting.
