hi everyone

In one of my tanks (30 litre) I have 2 ADF's and 3 x-ray tetras, who are all doing really well. Yesterday I decided to remove a plastic plant, and replace it with a real one. Within half an hour of putting the plant in, the water was starting to go green, and today it is no better. Ammonia, nitrite and nitrate levels are all 0.

Any ideas what i can do?

Thanks
Rich :)

Well, duh, take the plant out! Who knows what caused it, but it would be a good idea to take it out. :shifty:

Thats really odd.. Do you know what plant it was ?
Put it in some warmish water in a sink or something, does it still turn the water green ?
I have about 50 plants in my tank and none did that. I would take it back and demand a refund.
What would be better is if you know someone with plants who could give you some cuttings, as you know they will be OK then, but usually they are fine from your LFS, sometimes have snails though !!
