green terror tank mates any advice i have a pair of terrors quiet large probly 6" what can i put in there 6ft tank to make it less dull but not a war zone

lol you might struggle to be honest, two green terrors at that size may be a bit of trouble.

Green terrors are ok when little and growing up, but once they hit around 6" thereof, they do become more aggressive. I have one at circa 7" and it will have a pop at most fish including jack d, flowerhorn etc

i have mixed cichlids and oddballs, you will get a bit of lip fighting now and then, nothing too messy though

As you've said in another post the they kill anything else when spawning, then it may be difficult to find anything that will survive with them tbh.

large fishes are your biggest bet. some terrors are just more aggressive them others. i've seen some that would tear at anything you put in the tank while others quietly in a community tank (with large enough fishes of course) and not bothering anything.

i agree with you there straydum, whilst you can get aggressive fish, you will also find some that are okish and some that are just completey nuts, bit of a sliding scale for each group.

when i picked my gt, it was the only one chilling out under a plant, the others were either fighting each other, or trying to get fish in the next tank!

I opted for this one, and to be fair never had issues with him/her until he/she got to around 6", but even this, only means the odd chase off and very rare lip fighting
