Green Terror Pimple

Ive had my GT for a month and just a couple of days ago he formed something like a zit on the side of his head i was wondering if you guys could help me figure out what this is and how to possibly cure it. it doesnt seem to affect the way he eats or swim though. also i was wondering if this little guy was a male.

i had these appear on my discus i use to keep. it never did any harm and cleared up after a few days. i too couldnt find out what it was but it didnt effect the fish at all.

just try and do a few extra water changes and it should clear up
