Green swordy - labour progressing well

I got up this morning to immediately notice my green swordatil was a lot slimmer, and much less dark around her gravida spot. Sadly I have only spotted two of the fry though. She has had one more this morning, but by the time I got the hood of something had eaten it!.
Keep checking for more but I think she's nearly empty, as she only has a tiny dark area now.

I wish somebody could persuade my corys that nature did not intend spawning purely as a culinary exercise.

I must admit it has made me very aware of just how fit the fittest have to be to survive, and I for one definitely do not intend to come back as any form of livebearer.
