Hi,

I have these sinewy green fibrous strands growing on some of my plants.
They seem to be growing quite thick, mainly on my Elodea canadensis (Anacharis)
Common Name: OXYGEN WEED

and a bit on my Echinodorus bleheri (paniculatus).

Does anyone know

A) What it is ?
B) Is it harmfull to fish or plants?
C) How do I get rid of it?

Regards

Leon :/

hope this will help,

A) i think its caused by lighting in a tank or direct sunlight ( my sis has
some in her 2ft tank) not sure what its called though.
B) i dont think its harmful
C) get your hands in the tank and pull it out  , seriosly i think thats the only thing you can do to get rid of it.
