Green Severum

In about 3 months I will transfer all the fish out of an established 125 Gal tank. At that time I will stock it with 'medium sized cichlids'. Green Severum are on my short list of fish for this tank.

My question is how fast/slow do Green Severums grow? I saw the cutest little guys in the world the other day at a LFS and am considering bringing them home. I have a place to put them as long as they don't grow too quickly.

So my plan is to have them in the 125 3 months from now. So to be safe, if I bought 1.5 to 2 inch GS today, how big would you think they will be in 4 to 5 months? (this allows me another 4-6 weeks for complications on my pond)

As god to our fish we can control to a certain degree how fast our fish grow. Cool the water a bit, feed them less, and they'll grow at a slower rate.

I can't give you any accurate numbers but three months shouldn't be a problem.
