I have a 5 inch feeder fish in my 70 litre tank and he has green poo is this a typical indicator of something eg. bad food, stress. He has recently moved tanks... any help would be great

Oh and don't panick the tanks not the one in my sig :D I got this new one as a christmas present

Feeder fish, what is it? Does it eat algea or some food, what contains algaes or green colour? Do you feed it by peas or anything like that?

Probably normal...

Sounds like your fish has been eating his veggies, herbivorous fish will often have green poo after snacking on green plants.

I see a fair amont of green poo after the fishes have been
pruning the green algae from the back of the tank.

i was cleaning the tank and i saw the fish poop for the 1st time, some was dark green and others were dark pink! but i guess its normal :sly:

well he does eat a lot of plants, he has a very big appetite, he goes through the gravel for food he missed at feeding time. When I first began keeping fish I bought a bag of flakes and they got some water on them. Months later I fed it to the fish in question and his poo was green. So I assumed this time it was bad food. I think it may just be the plants, thanks for the help
