is there any way we can keep out fish tanks energy efficant?

just wondering since today is earth day i was wondering if you guys had any ideas?

there's various things you can do

there are energy efficient powerheads and lights on the market, however most of these are aimed at marine tanks which makes sense becuase that's where you get the highest energy consumption.

one of the simplest things that most people don't do is re-use the fish tank water. it's full of nutrients which are great for plants, so don't throw it away, water your garden or houseplants with it.
