Hi ,i`ve got a 110l tank with 4 green fire tetra,8 glowlight tetra,2 pitbull plecos,2 dwarf gouramis 9 corries, and shrimp in,but my green fire tetra ,that started off at 6 ,then over a few months i lost two, have been attacking my male dwarf gourami ,and have now started on my female .Have had to take my male out and put it into my 28l with a betta [thery`re both alright],5 neon tetras, and 2 apple snails and 2 shrimp ,as it`s got a bad wound on it`s top ,and is being constantly attacked where it is,just to let it heal.T he lfs doesn`t sell these fish anymore, and i`ve had them for about 5 months,so if they constantly attack my female i don`t know what to do .I can`t locate anymore of these fish to increase their numbers back to 6 ,but even when there were 6 they were aggressive but not as bad ,any advice please ?

issolate the trouble makers for now. put the male back in before him and the betta go on one and trust me they will especially in a tank that size

Thanks for the advice but where do i isolate the 4 green fire tetra as i`ve only got the 110l and the 28l with a betta ,and 5 neon tetra in,i can`t even put the 5 neon tetra in my 110l and the 4 green fire tetra in my 110l,in case the green fire tetra attack my betta?

Hi all what happens if i change my tanks around ,
my 110l has the following,4 green fire tetra,
8 glowlight tetra,
2 pitbull plecs ,
9 corries,2 dwarf gourami, 4 bamboo shrimp ,6 shrimp in
and my 28l has
a betta,
5 neon tetra,
and 2 shrimp and 2 apple snails ,
Well if i swap the 4 green fire tetra, over to my 28l and put my 5 neon tetra and betta in my 110l ,will this work, otherwise i don`t know what to do?

Alternatively ,put them down the loo?

Does any body have any ideas please ,would my above idea work ,not the toilet, lol

I would try the switch, you have nothing to lose by trying. The worst that happens is you have to re-home the fire tetras. Hopefully, they leave your betta alone. I have them with my betta and they don't have any interest in him. In a small tank though, you may not be so lucky.

Hi all ,well when i did my water change and gravel clean ,put my gourami back into my 110l,and swapped 3 of the green fire tera to my 28l ,[couldn`t catch the fourth ,will try again]and put the 5 neon tetra into my 110l from my 28l,which leaves the betta and 3 green fire tetra in my 28l.Well i do feel guilty as they haven`t much room ,but they would have killed my gourami ,so at least it`s safe now ,and hopefully it`s wound will heal, will keep you updated .
