how peacefull are the green chromis or blue reef chromis in community tanks? i know damsels can be little devils but i have read these are the most peacefullof them . any experiances?

was plannig to get 3 or 4 for a 100 gal community tank.

Green chromis are very peaceful except sometime one will grow bigger than the rest and kinda of chase the others but its not too much of a probley

Ive got 4 in a 30g. They did chase a new wrasse, but that seems minimal now. They do hold the normal defensive territroy aggresion, but IME far less PITA's compared to other Damsels. A good schooling fish for an SPS reef, with great colours.

I'd agree with Mr M - I have three in a 44gal with a mixture of other fish without any aggression at all.

They seem to stick pretty close together too which always looks nice. Eat anything you feed them, no problem recommending :good:

what about the blue reef chromis??? undecied if ill get the green or blue reef.

since this is a thread about chromis and i dont want to clurtter up the message board do you think it would be fair to put 3 chrmis in a 23 gallon with 3 other fish ?

i was also informed by my LFS that they do best kept in odd numbers....not sure if that holds water or not.
