Noticed over the last few days the presence of green algae on my Warship's conning Tower and a couple of turrets.

I wasn't that bothered about it TBH, but the wife pointed out that it is of the slimy variety.

Is this liable to cause me a problem? If so, I will have to remove my Bismark asap and give it a damned good clean

From that list I would say the best match to what I have is Rhizoclonium.

Very soft and slimy. Bright green and only in the upper third of the tank.

give us chance to answer lol.

It wont cause a problem unless it starts to grow on plant leaves etc blocking out light which will kill them, otherwise it is ok.
