Greedy Fish

My swordtails get ALL the food, everytime i feed and the guppies don't seem to able to get....
How can i effectively feed the guppies without overfeeding the others? Also my lfs had a cup full of grass like plants for $2 so i took it, when it unpacked it it had about 10 shoots! and a cute little shrimp who probably got eaten by now. What could that plant possibly be? It looks just like grass... too bad i can't get a pic

Try leading the "greedy" fish to one corner for a feeding. While they are eating, pinch some food and put it under water and drop it. It should fall down.

I tried it with a little bit... went down and swordtails got all.. then i crushed it a bit and some went dow 2 the middle layer and some stayed on the top... everone got
