Greatest Movie Song Of All Time?

Always Look on the Bright Side of Life... (By Eric Idle)

Wistling: t-tee tur-tee tee-tee tee-tee

Closing tune for (of course) the best film ever made: 'The Life of Brian'

Andy

It has to be Titanic for me, makes me cry every time! and Kissing You from Romeo and Juliet!

Just saw this thread and thought - "please let no one say Titanic" it's possibly (in fact it is) the worst schmaltz song ever (in my opinion). But hey, each to their own.

Top Gun Soundtrack 8) (especially the theme tune),

And with the above just said (shooting myself in the foot with schmaltz) my first movie sound-track I fell in love with.
Dirty Dancing
And :yep, I'm sorry: Bright Eyes ( Simon and Garfunkel)! There, I said it.

^ my parents took me to see that film (Watership Down) when I was an impressionable 9 year old, thinking 'ooo, little cartoony-woony film about fluffy-wuffy bunny wabbits..'

Hmmm.

In fact it turns out to be rather a harrowing tale of death. It has taken the last 30 or so years to get over it (only kiddin')

Anyway, Bright Eyes aint Simon & Garfunkel. It was sung by Art, composed by Mike Batt (he says zipping over to IMDB). Great song, something about it just makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.....

Quite! I think it scarred many an innocent kid for life!

"All the world will be your enemy. And when they catch you, they will kill you. But first they have to catch you." "All of your life, you will continue to meet people who like you, and those that will attack you. Be strong, stand tall, and your people will never be destroyed."

Cutsey, wootsy fluffy bunny movie my foot! But it is an excellent classic.
