I used that community creator to find out how many fish i could put in my tank. I thought it was fine but after asking on this site i found out it said i could have too many than i could, (according to people on ths site).
I dont know if this is true but i've decided to just ask for advice on this site about stocking.

I will use it just to see what fish are compatible with each other but not for stocking levels.

Not bad, but it said my 20 would be overstocked with 6 cories, 6 danios and 2 rams... LOL, and I'm putting about 6 tetras on top of those as well.

yeah i think the communtiy creator assumes that ur fish are the maxiumum size that they can grow to so thats why it is giving odd results

Generally, you're supposed to stock according to the final size of your fish. That helps in case you can't upgrade to a larger tank later.
