Great find, at Pets at home

I went to Pets at home last night, I don't normaly buy fish from them, but wile I was looking at the fish, I saw some Albino Kribs, I thought WOW, I never seen them for sale before.

SO I got them There lovely, abit young to sex yet, I hoping I have a male and female, as I'd love to try and breed them when there older.

I also found a good book, on Betta's, got 5% off, as the covers abit damaged.

NOW, the filter.

I have 2 filter in my tank, one has suckers on the sides, and I stick it in the back corner of my tank, I always forget, not to put it to close, about 4 weeks ago, It traped and killed my lovely female Betta, and last night after a water change, I forgot again, and this morning 3 of my danio's where trapped, thankfuly only one had died

I starting to realy hate that filter.

That's good news about the fish. Isn't it thrilling when you find something so unexpected at the lfs?

But that filter of yours worries me. No filter should trap fish, at least not full grown ones. What kind is it?

I don't think it's the filter itself just the way I position it, as if I don't have it close to the corner of the tank, it dies'nt trap any fish at, all. I take a pic of it's position tomorra, I can't remember what make it is, but find that out tomorra to, as I off to bed now.

Thank for being consernd, and to honest I am, to exsesaly when I loss fish. If it starts to get to much of a rob I may buy a new filter.

Consider placeing a sponge over the filter intake they sell them at bigals for cheap or you could buy a fluval #03 brand and cut it to fit

we stock albino kribs at work, noone really buys them so they have grown to about 1.5" and some of them have awesome colours on them, when the pink belly comes through they look awesome then they start getting some gold on there fins.
