Gravid Spot?

Well yesterday i was not home for most of the day so did not get to check on how the guppys were doing but when i got home the biggest females gravid spot was still black but had a redish color added to it, and today when i looked it is more red than black does this mean she has already dropped? is she due to drop anytime soon?

If it got lighter, and she is thinner, she may have dropped a few. Sometimes Guppies drop over a few days. If she still appears fat, the fry may have turned around. Since the coloring in the gravid spot is usually the fry's eyes, when they turn around, it beomes lighter. They usually turn around at night, but it can be any time.

well that one day i was out i didnt feed them till around six =/ so i didnt get to see if she got smaller over night but she does look at little smaller but ive searched and no fry=( it bothers me lol i hope she didnt drop em allll

good luck to you and your "soon to be fry"... i think i have a pregnant molly and am waiting just like you.... its exciting and im curious to nkow if i will see any fry as well. keep us posted!
