Gravid Spot

There's no set size. It will depend on the Guppy. If you look closely, you may be able to see eyes in the gravid spot. That's a good indication she's pretty close. Her stomach may also become squarish. But the easiest way is to see when she last gave birth, then block out a month from there and move her a few days before that, or when she looks ready. Mollies are the same, except sometimes you can't see gravids on them.

I can back this up that you sometimes can't see the gravid spot on mollies, I didn't even know mine was pregnant, i'd only just got her a few days before!
