Gravel To Sand

so glad to change to sand so easy to clean and the fish love it as well i have been wachting fish the moveing the sand around well pleased

Agreed, they do seem to prefer the sand.
Yes the poo does look bad as it sits on top of it, but it's so much easier to syphon off

dont tacke long to clean. wished i went down the sand road fist place.my plecos love it and so do my albino cats

i was actually considering going to sand by the thing is i have a planted tank .... and i use laterite and a iron supply in my fish tank so idk what to do ..dont plants die when there planted in sand?

I just got sand in my tank and planted and they seam to be ok

All my sand tanks are planted and the plants do fine, once they get rooted. Sometimes you need to hold them down with pebbles until that happens.
